Media Black Hole: So Much News That We'll Implode?... →
Ironic to be sharing on my blog, I know, but this is a topic I find very interesting and concerning.

Money Won’t Buy You Health Insurance - NYTimes.com →
PLEASE READ AND PASS ALONG. I am self-employed and going thru a very similar situation. Many people wrongly think that anyone is able to get insurance and don’t realize the difference between a employer-supplied “Group Plans” and trying to get insurance on your own. I have been denied twice thus far, both for different reasons, and am struggling to find coverage other than the...

I often feel boxed in by this aspect of the comic book/graphic novel industry and it is part of the reason I never sign my work...

Depression drawing | Van Gogh and I →
I was interested to see what was out there regarding this topic. To my surprise there was really not too much out there (based upon a cursory google search). I really liked this guy’s expression and if you read his bio he seems like quite an interesting guy. Even though we want to think of ourselves as “unique”, sometimes it’s nice to know that others are sometimes...

This dude is like my kindred spirit (sans the chalk - oh how I hate chalkboards!). After making my office mural I have wanted to do another. I now have an idea for my baking station wall in my kitchen. Now, just to muster the time and energy. Damn mono.

NATERNET: Going Dark, But Still Shining →
naternet: Marley is going blind, if she’s not there already. Sara had been noticing her sniffing around for things more than usual to find things recently, but we never really suspected that she was actually going blind until the last few days. We haven’t taken her to the vet, but it’s pretty obvious…
